1. Where this notice applies

Nejeli is a homewear outfit organization utility that helps users record loungewear, sleepwear, at-home styling ideas, comfort ratings, and wardrobe notes. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the app, contact us, make an in-app purchase, or visit pages under nejeli.app.

This notice applies to the app and the related legal pages. It does not replace the privacy terms of Apple, app stores, payment processors, analytics providers, cloud hosting providers, or other third-party services that operate their own systems.

2. Information you choose to provide

The app may process wardrobe item names, descriptions, outfit notes, comfort ratings, tags, preferences, and other content you decide to enter. If you contact us, we may receive your email address, message content, and related support context.

You decide what wardrobe or outfit information to enter. Please avoid adding sensitive personal information unless it is necessary for your own use of the app.

3. App, device, and purchase information

We may receive technical information needed to operate, secure, diagnose, and improve the app, such as app version, device type, language, approximate region, crash or diagnostic data, and interaction information. If you make an in-app purchase, the relevant platform may provide purchase validation details, transaction identifiers, product identifiers, entitlement state, and refund or billing status.

Payment card information is handled by the app store or payment platform. We do not receive full card numbers from those platforms.

4. How we use information

Information is used to provide app features, save user-selected content, organize wardrobe and outfit records, process and validate in-app purchases, respond to support and privacy requests, prevent misuse, troubleshoot errors, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, and improve reliability.

We may use aggregated or de-identified information to understand general product performance and feature usage. We do not use user wardrobe content to identify a person in aggregated reports.

5. Legal bases where required

Where laws such as the GDPR or UK GDPR apply, our legal bases may include performance of a contract, consent, legitimate interests in operating and protecting the app, compliance with legal obligations, and establishing or defending legal claims. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent for future processing where applicable.

6. Sharing and service providers

We may share information with providers that help operate the app, including hosting, storage, app distribution, analytics, diagnostics, payment validation, security, communications, and administrative support providers. These providers are allowed to handle information only for appropriate service, security, legal, or operational purposes.

Information may also be disclosed when required by law, court order, regulatory request, tax obligation, dispute, security investigation, corporate transaction, or to protect rights, users, the app, or the public.

7. In-app purchases

Nejeli may offer in-app purchase features. Purchase processing is handled by the applicable app marketplace. We use purchase-related information only to confirm entitlement, provide purchased functionality, handle support, maintain records, prevent fraud, and comply with accounting or legal requirements.

8. Retention

We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy. App content may remain while you keep it in the app or while needed to provide app functionality. Purchase, support, security, accounting, tax, and legal records may be kept longer where required or appropriate.

When information is no longer needed, it is deleted, de-identified, or kept in a restricted form, subject to technical and legal limits.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to reduce the risk of unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No app, device, network, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and your own device and backup settings also affect privacy and security.

10. International handling

Information may be processed in countries or regions other than where you live. Where transfer rules apply, we use safeguards required by applicable law, such as contractual protections, provider controls, or legally recognized transfer mechanisms.

11. Children

Nejeli is not directed to children who are too young to use mobile apps or make app-related choices under applicable law. If a parent or guardian believes a child provided information that should be removed, they may contact us at customer@nejeli.app.

12. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of certain personal information. You may also have rights to withdraw consent or complain to a data protection authority. Some requests may be limited by security, legal, technical, tax, accounting, or dispute-related needs.

13. Updates and contact

We may update this policy when the app, legal requirements, providers, security practices, or operations change. The updated version will be posted in the app or on the related legal pages, and the date above will show when the policy became current.
